Society's standards, By I. Fendler and T. du Plessis

Why do you judge me? Is it because I cover my face with paint, or because I hide my features with attire. I do so because I am ashamed, ashamed of what you'll think of me. Am I normal? You judge my weight , but you look just like me. You say I'm ugly , but your cheeks are covered with spots . I see nothing wrong with you, but why do you hurt me so? I try to fit i n, but all you do is push me away. Society's standards cut deep like razorblades. I thought I was normal, but why do you tell me diffe

RED

Standing at the balcony You're just staring at the sky I can see the sadness and pain in your eyes I know you've been hurt countless of times Life flies One thing is certain, and the rest is lies In my room, I can hear  your screams and cries The flower that once has bloomed forever dies

SHUTTERED

A wayfarer I have become on this desert, with pebbles in my shoe. With empty pouches, anxiousness makes my mouth dry and all I hear is the complaint of my belly. My HEART and MIND at war and I wonder, what will become of me if their mockery becomes ugly with time. And my wobbling limbs on the other hand will be out in no time, and for a second my death wishes were flashing before me. A seal is all I need, for I believed the wind will carry my wishes to my loved ones. To be dressed, viewed by all

Poem "Unyielding vines to me ivy"

Through trials fierce, I've learned to stand, A resolute vine in life's demanding land, With leaves of strength, I faced the storm, My spirit steadfast, forever warm. From humble roots, my journey grew, Embracing challenges, old and new, Through darkest nights, I faced my fears, And watered dreams with heartfelt tears.

Trust

Trust takes time to build It’s not an easy thrill But with patience and honest words It will grow strong and still It’s knowing someone’s your friend That gives hope and good cheer No matter what comes your way Trust will always be here Trust can be hard for some But for others it comes easy It’s the bond we share That makes us truly free.

Poem

Sunset's glow, a sight to see A sky ablaze, a symphony Of colors, warm and bright Fading into the night Clouds of pink and orange hues Majestic beauty, nature's muse The world below in soft repose As daylight fades, so it goes A moment captured, brief but true A fleeting beauty, renewed anew In memories and in the heart A work of art, never to depart

Mother

A title to hold with grace A role to fill with care A heart to love without a trace A spirit strong and fair A soul that knows no bounds A mind that sees beyond A hand that holds and never frowns A voice that sings a lullaby A smile that lights the way A face that shines with love each day A mother, you are all of this and more The best there is, the best there's ever been I love you more than words can say And I am so grateful to be your child

The Tattoo On My Ring Finger (Inspired from TXT's Song)

020 Together, we bought that shiny ring, our promises and dreams, on this piece of metal cling. The smiles and laughter that we shared, the warmth of your kisses and hugs are now lost in the maze's dead-end. Your traces are gone, vanished without a trace. All that's left is this mark on my ring finger that I always caressed. Your place beside the bed feels cold, I'm missing your smell, my life feels void. The tattoo on my ring finger is now a memory, a memory where you are mine in my every day.

BEAUTY OF NATURE (A POEM)

Look at nature’s beauty like you’ll view a dainty. See the glistening night’s stars as sweet sparks on the eyes. What a bliss in my heart watching a penguin sit! Like a fishing bobber, stands a seal with blubber. It’s fun seeing fountains flowing down the mountains, And casting their fluid bodies into the deep valleys. Great God of creation, your love floods my nation, Reflecting Your power, and radiating Your wonder. Greater glory would be, for all the saints to see. Faces would ever glow, thou

Poetry

Poetry (derived from the Greek poiesis, "making"), also called verse,[note 1] is a form of literature that uses aesthetic and often rhythmic[1][2][3] qualities of language − such as phonaesthetics, sound symbolism, and metre − to evoke meanings in addition to, or in place of, a prosaic ostensible meaning. A poem is a literary composition, written by a poet, using this principle. The Parnassus (1511) by Raphael: famous poets recite alongside the nine Muses atop Mount Parnassus. Poetry has a long

Life

Life Life is a journey, full of ups and downs With twists and turns, and frequent rounds Of laughter and tears, of joy and pain Of sunshine and rain, that always remains. It's a rollercoaster, with peaks so high That take us to the sky, and touch the sky And valleys so low, that test our might But we rise and grow, with all our might. It's a tapestry, woven with care Of threads of hope, and threads of flair Of memories sweet, and lessons learned And love that burns, that always yearns. It's a pr
