Rights of a Child

I am a child which I can do different things Each and every things which my parents told on me. Be good at all times and don't forget to pray God Because God protects me from any harm or in danger. I have the rights to be born and to lived once As I can see, the happy, happy, morning sun Their tender love and care make me be more lively. Through their gently touching makes me more been smiling. As a child, I have a right to play and have fun And to listen my beautiful teacher at school Who teaches me in a good manner and right conduct. As I grew up and molded to be a better man. Thanks for my Mama and Papa for schooling me. They are the one who guide me when I'm growing up, To make myself respectful and courteous. And to be a good leader and a follower.

Castle on the Cloud

034 Agony is the description of my life, a word that's my everyday's companion. My sleeves are always wet, not because of the water nor rain, but of my overflowing tears. But I seldom dreamed of a castle on the clouds. There, I have someone to hug me when I'm afraid. There are foods to eat when my stomach's grumbling. There are blankets to warm me during the night. At the castle on the clouds, I was not hurt. I don't have bruises nor wounds. I don't have dirt nor molds. I don't have an empty sto

All Back

I’ll take it all back If it meant the rewind would fix all the cracks If it means love would stroll even deeper into our hearts And break apart the cages of lust. I’ll take it all back If spaces would close up And initiate those times we made kisses spark in the dark One on one,Eyes locked up to touch And heal the deepest parts Doubts sat to eat to play it’s dirty tracks I’ll take it all back, I’ll take it all back Even if for a minute just to dispatch Every moment of weakness that made us slack

A letter from the heart

A LETTER FROM THE HEART Dear Lover, To think just a few minutes ago, I didn't have the strength to write to you, but thinking about you makes me want to write..... Before we proceed, I want you to know that these are words I have always wanted to tell you..... Come closer, what I am about to say is private... Shhhh You know... I miss you so deeply that, every thought of you feels me with sweet emotions... You know... I love it when you call my name... oh, what I would give to hear you whisper it

My Mother Has A Photo Album In Heaven

My mother doesn't read books, she reads people who read books. like she read my cousin who was pregnant at 16 because she tasted lemon dewdrops in early sunrise and the bittersweet experience of motherhood never left her palm like a written note. my mother could read fever just by placing hands on the forehead of her child, you could say she was the MOM in therMOMeter because my mom never kept us in a room temperature... to say, she didn't want us to get spoilt, she tightened up every corner tha

Colors of Youth

003 There are certain moments of our lives that we are the brightest. Moments that we are the bravest, persistent, and reckless. We fight for our friends, beliefs, values, love, and dreams. We gave it all, a fight of all or nothing is what it screams. Moments where we believed we can have both love and friendships, full of hopes, promises, plans and building relationships. Moments where we thought that would last forever, moments that we hoped to never end-ever. Laughters would echo on all four

The View From The Summit

010 Did you see that mountain's peak? It's so high and so hard to climb. I'm always behind its shadows and I'm so sick. But I am just me, So ordinary, I'm not strong. So I will not be able to climb that mountain peak. Did you see that high summit? I wonder how far my feet can take me there. But I'm just me, So mediocre, Far from strong. So I will not be able to step unto that summit. So I will just hide in its shadows, Never be able to see that sun ahead. I will just bury my self in my sorrows,

Fred the rich man

There once was a rich man named Fred, Whose wealth was so vast, it spread. He had mansions and yachts galore, But he was still a terrible bore. One day, Fred was walking down the street, When he saw a homeless man sleeping at his feet. Fred laughed and said, "Look at you, so poor, While I have more money than I can endure." The homeless man looked up and said, "I may be poor, but I'm not dead. I may not have mansions and yachts, But I have friends and I'm not a sot." Fred was so angry, he turned

At The Piano

008 Let our fingers dance. For now, let's cover ouselves with ignorance, For this too will end later Like a piano performance on the theater. Glide your fingers on the keys, Go and create perfect harmonies. Let your fingers dance on the piano. Let the music travels on the patio. Ease your mind and feel the piece's message. Play with your heart and unviel the mirage. May you hear my 'I love you' Hidden at this piano performance with you. At the piano I play, Hoping you understand what I relay. Th

Towards the light

- Maybe you think the winter is gonna last forever - Maybe you long for the sunkiss with a change of weather - But have you ever thought that : - All this darkness is leading you to an endless light - And without the night - you'd be blind from seeing directly the sunlight - Your eyes needed to grow - For you to learn how to dance in the pain under the rain and let everything flow - We're all here to feel the sadness - Try to color your own world with gratefulness - in life we have the freedom t

Midnight Battles

027 12:49 AM. It's still vividly written in my mind, how my fingers twitched with pain, how the bitter coffee went down under my throat, how my eyes begged for rest, how my back shouts comfort, and how the lamp is holding on. Those memories during midnight. The memories of persevering to chase the deadlines, the memoir of studying for an upcoming recitation, the crumpled notes with an almost unreadable scribbles, and the pictures witnessed by the four walls of my room, will forever be locked ins
