A poem for her

Knock, knock, knock Beauty at morning's door After a night filled with adventures Dreams of christ and his unfailing love Multiple dimensions in a single world Different experiences before dawn War and chaos in a living void Death and loss like there's no law A very tough and strange night indeed And yet the princess sleeps with no worries With visions appearing like movies Five hours felt like an eternity One night feeling like twenty She is the best at it Because she got christ at the wheel Kn

A Priceless Pi - To Mine Or Not To Mine

This Pi I mine Is mine Not mine really It’s hers She’s unaware Yet I see on her stories Taunt of those who mine A wise man told her Of how hopeless and lazy we are Conmen everywhere But the future I promised her And the love it grooms Is built on the Pi I mine While in turn she mines me her heart – maybe Faith If this mine never sees light, later At least her heart would have become mine Honey Pie A priceless Pi

Love is a Journey

Love is a journey, a winding road That takes us through the highs and lows It's a path of joy, and sometimes pain That leads us to a place of gain It's a journey of discovery, of learning and growth Where we learn to trust, to give, and to love It's a path of understanding, of patience and care Where we learn to accept and to share Love is a journey, a winding road That leads us to a place of joy and hope It's a path of laughter, of tears and of smiles Where we learn to cherish each moment for m

She was a Poem

028 She was a poem with rhymes and rhythm, someone whose secrets are hidden. Her faithful friend was her pen, an object who witnessed her veiled shenanigan. She was a poem that only a few can understand. Someone private and hard to comprehend. The papers are her companion at night, forming her thoughts as her pen took flight. She was an unfinished poem hiding traumas behind the pages. Unraveled emotions and tears are hidden inside her cages. Millions of thoughts keep her awake at night, shadows

A poem

Beneath the sky, where dreams take flight, Stars twinkle in the velvet night, Whispers of the breeze in the trees, Nature's song, a gentle ease. In moments small or grand and bright, Life's a journey, a thrilling rite, With hope and love, we find our way, In this brief dance, we seize the day.

IN YOUR HEART. A FAMILY POEM

He was so proud of his little girl. It was her very first day of school. He walked with her to school that day, And she held his hand all the way. They walked together quiet and sad, A little girl and her loving dad. Into the school her father led, But he almost cried when she said, "Daddy, Daddy, please don't go. Don't leave me here all alone. I'll miss you if you go away, And I might need you; can't you stay?" "Little Daughter, please don't cry. You'll be okay, so dry your eyes. You have our memories in your heart. We're together though we're apart." He sat up front on her wedding day And cried as his daughter walked away. Later that night he watched her dance. He sat there waiting for his chance. The band started to play their song. Father and daughter danced along. She looked at him and saw a tear Then leaned and whispered in his ear, "Daddy, Daddy, I have to go. I hate to leave you all alone. I'll miss you when I go away, But if you need me then I'll stay." We're together..."

A poem about pineapple on pizza

Pineapple on pizza, a sweet and tangy delight, A topping that brings together day and night. Its juicy flavor, a tropical escape, Complements the savory, it's a tasty trade. Some may say it's an abomination, But to those who love it, it's a celebration. The cheese, the sauce, the crust, oh so divine, With pineapple on top, it's a taste that's all-time. It may not be for everyone, that's plain to see, But to those who dare to try it, it's a symphony. A mix of sweet and salty, a harmony in play, A

Insecurity in Nigeria (A Poem)

A nation in despair, A nation in fear, Where the people can't sleep And the future is unclear. Insecurity reigns, Terrorism gains, And the people are left To fend for their lives. Kidnappings and killings, Rapes and pillaging, The country is in chaos And the people are begging. Where is the government? Where is the help? The people are crying out But no one seems to hear. A nation in despair, A nation in fear, Where the people can't sleep And the future is unclear.
