The Haunted Heart A Lament of Love Lost My heart is haunted by the ghost of you, The memories of what used to be, The pain of the love that I once knew, That has now been taken from me. This is a loss and love poem The poem begins and ends in the usual formal way, however the poem informs as about a someone who made many promises to his lover in line (1-5).
