Insecurity in Nigeria (A Poem)

A nation in despair, A nation in fear, Where the people can't sleep And the future is unclear. Insecurity reigns, Terrorism gains, And the people are left To fend for their lives. Kidnappings and killings, Rapes and pillaging, The country is in chaos And the people are begging. Where is the government? Where is the help? The people are crying out But no one seems to hear. A nation in despair, A nation in fear, Where the people can't sleep And the future is unclear.

Long Lonely road

Long lonely road The long, lonely road stretches on, No end or beginning in sight, Emptiness and darkness surround me, An abyss I cannot fight. The flicker of stars in the sky, Promise of hope in the night, Fading like a forgotten dream, Dissolving into the light. The winds blow prophetic warnings, And whisper secrets in my ear, Of an unknowable destiny, A future that I cannot hear. The darkness taunts me onward Through my distant, foggy flight, Lifting my sorrows to heaven, To roam this endless

The last wolf

Beneath the fading moon's soft glow, The last wolf treads where shadows flow. A sentinel of ages old, In tales of wilderness, its story told. Majestic spirit, fierce and wild, Guardian of the night, undefiled. Legends woven through the trees, Whisper of strength in every breeze. Lone survivor of a primal land, Pawprints etched in the shifting sand. Eyes that hold the secrets deep, In twilight's realm, its vigil to keep. Oh, last wolf, your howl shall fade, But in our hearts, your memory's laid.

Summer breeze

The winter comes, In the disguise of a rainy day. I felt so cold, I can't make you stay. You gave me, a short-time warmth. a love I thought, would stay in my arms.

The points accounts only when, millions others, follow now and then

Let me spit these rhymes first, before I get, to the points, and topic worst, Then the pick, of your crimes, sicking artist, to rehearse, From the core, sweating pore, swearing shore, with the daily chore, To study, with a buddy, for a lady, to be daddy, and be quite shady, With the quiet passion, tearing nights, with compassion, wearing whites, onto mansion, Gearing diet, with a pension, while hearing, me right from, the pension, Cheating the bloody, diddy tension, to beat the Jade e-invasion,

The points accounts only when, millions others, follow now and then

ONCE WAS I

Once was I in love, When I spent all my time in that love, Love that bored no fruits, Yet I didn't recognize this, For I had nobody to tell me, Until today I got myself to know. Once was I in those parties, Parties that I attended daily, Accompanied by all friends, Friends that gave no advice Yet I kept them, Just for friendships. Once was I very strong, Physically and mentally indeed, Strong like a lion Powerful like Samson, But today, Once was I. Once was more time I spent, Not in hard work, B

Torment

The tears we shed are not only that of pain. It might be of torment. The torment of not knowing the unknown. We are scared of things that are yet to come. Things that are yet to form. Some might hide, and some might run. But it will always come just for fun. It lurks in the shadows, driving you insane. It enjoys the torment, it thinks it's a game. It feeds off the pain. You can only pray. We all have that fear. Some call it anxiety, and some call pain.

I am always deeply moved by the beauty and resilience of people with black skin.

In the tapestry of ebony hues, A symphony of grace and resilience, The people of ebony skin, A portrait of strength and brilliance. Their souls adorned with rich history, Stories etched in every line and curve, Through struggles and triumphs, They radiate a beauty that preserves. From the rhythm of their laughter, To the wisdom in their eyes, Their spirit dances with resilience, Underneath vast African skies.
