Joyous Sunday

The bells of Sunday ring With a joy that's all their own, And the birds in the trees above Seem to join in the song. The sun is shining bright, And the air is fresh and sweet, And the sky is a cloudless blue, And the world is at its feet. The children are out to play, And the flowers are in bloom, And the world is a happy place On this joyous Sunday morning. The cares of the week are gone, And the heart is light and free, And the soul is filled with peace On this joyous Sunday.

Innocent until proven guilty, Things said can stay unruled, Rely on trust, more than you'd think, Or it's lonely, sad, and bleak. Trust follows you, it's your light Keeping doubts at bay at night. No matter what you're here to do, Trust will always pull you through. It's a backbone, a comrade Leading the way, less afraid, Trust tests the depths of our faith, Struggles, but never too late. Sadness is a heavy rain cloud; That hangs over me all day It's so hard to express out loud; The sorrow that comes my way. I'm so easily weighed down; By each thought and emotion My eyes brim with sadness; My heart is a dark ocean. It's hard to feel the warmth; When I'm surrounded by cold I try to find the strength to rise; But it's a weighted hold I give in to sadness; And let the loneliness consume I'm desperately seeking happiness; But it's become such a huge gloom. Trapped in Helplessness

A feeling of powerlessness, A sense of being trapped, The weight of the world on your shoulders, And no way to adapt. You try to break free, But the chains are too strong, You scream for help, But no one comes along. Lost in a sea of despair, With no hope in sight, You struggle and fight, But it's a losing fight. Helplessness consumes you, It's all that you know, And in the end, you realize, You're never letting go.

Love is like an earthquake shaking up the ground beneath Stronger than all the land only found when two souls meet Like blinding bright sunshine illuminating both their hearts Mattifying the harshness showing them a brand new start Sparking a flame of passion burning hot and wild Bringing laughter and joy from which two hearts are bound Love is a power so grand one a person can't defend It wakes us up each morning and leads us through until the end
