The Little Red Riding Hood

Once upon a time there was a dear little girl who was loved by every one who looked at her, but most of all by her grandmother, and there was nothing that she would not have given to the child. Once she gave her a little cap of red velvet, which suited her so well that she would never wear anything else. So she was always called Little Red Riding Hood. One day her mother said to her, "Come, Little Red Riding Hood, here is a piece of cake and a bottle of wine. Take them to your grandmother, she i

Story of poor little girl

“The Poor Little Girl” is one of the outstanding stories of the first biannual International Short Story Contest 2017 written by Rachel Wilhelm, USA. The Poor Little Girl One freezing cold New Year’s Eve, a little girl roamed the dark streets. She wore no hat, no mittens, no coat, she only wore torn rags. She also had no name so she called herself Pat, short for Patricia. Pat stood, staring through a window of a big house and watched as people danced and sang and ate roasted turkey. Then suddenly she ran “home“, which was between two buildings, with tears streaming down her cheeks. Why did she have to be who she was? Why couldn’t she have all the rich food that she wanted? But she couldn’t answer these questions, so she just cried to herself. The next morning the sun came up through the mountains and spread its colors over the land but the fog was too thick and only let a dim light through. Pat stood up and started walking towards the streets to do her rounds of begging for spare pe

A little kindness

We are civilized yet this life is a like a jungle, we battle not to be consumed but survive, hoping to live and see tomorrow dawn and dusk. We are all having dilemmas that disturb our peace, keeping us frozen in hot summer day, non-real phase. A life where  mind and body dwell in apart company. Some dilemma are visible and some are latent, some dilemma are durative some are brief event. Some are dealing with trilemma and infit-lemma . So I plea with all, let us share a little kindness to all, li

The Star - little cosmologist

A brief, jerking summation of the young heart pining for love - and the bitter resentment that grows when her love goes unrequited. Note that her enmity is focused on this elusive 'her', and the lover himself is portrayed as gentle and giving - a gross overstatement, Ladies and Gentlemen. @little.cosmo

A little boy

It was June 1947. I had just returned home from my daily errands when the knok at the door perplexed me to the core. And thus to my mind's subtler point there stood a boy with a bowl in his hand. He was a professional beggar who wanted to mint money out of begging in that way. I asked him to come inside my snug house of red brick abode built sumptuous living. So he came up to me and sat there puzzled himself at my hospitality. But once he was inside my dinning room, I made him go upstairs to the
