The 2024 Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) Championship commenced on August 31st at the U.J. Esuene Sports Stadium in Calabar, Cross River State.

This pivotal second-division tournament features 19 teams competing fiercely for a place in the NWFL Premiership, while also striving to avoid relegation to the third division.
