Hon. Agnes Atsu Commissioner for Sports Welcome to all women in football to the Nation’s Paradise! The 2024 Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) Championship commenced on August 31st at the U.J. Esuene Sports Stadium in Calabar, Cross River State.
This pivotal second-division tournament features 19 teams competing fiercely for a place in the NWFL Premiership, while also striving to avoid relegation to the third division.
