The Nigeria Oil and Gas Industry Games (NOGIG) once again captivated spectators and dignitaries alike as it unfolded in a week-long extravaganza of athleticism and camaraderie at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja. Among them, Team NNPC emerged as the undisputed champions, clinching an impressive haul of 50 medals, including 20 gold, nine silver, and 21 bronze. NLNG secured the second position with 14 gold, 13 silver, and 11 bronze medals, while Shell claimed the third spot with seven gold, six silver, and nine bronze medals.

Dr. Ifeanyiwa Mojo-Eyes, the Chairperson of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), expressed her elation at the outstanding performance of the event, emphasizing that it marked a significant milestone for NOGIG. Notably, she herself participated in golf, demonstrating her dedication to both organizational duties and active engagement in sports.

In her welcome address, Dr. Mojo-Eyes underscored the theme of the event, "Empower Wellness, Ignite Productivity," highlighting the importance of promoting physical fitness and fostering connections within the industry.
