 Qatar used a total of 8 stadiums for this event, 7 of which were fully constructed while the Khalifa International Stadium was already there.

 Al Bait Stadium will be converted into a five-star hotel, shopping mall and sports medicine center.

 Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium and Al-Janoob Stadium will be reserved for local football clubs.
