In that case your thoughts which are your past knowledge become the barrier in understanding that you are creating joy at individual level, which you perceive to be true.

It can also give you an illusion that your way is helping you create more joy in your life. The same knowledge becomes the barrier in understanding the sorrows of life which are there to warn you that you are not fully present for life.
