The Focus Africa Women in Medicine, Health, and Wellness Conference held at the NAF Conference Center in Abuja saw distinguished attendees including Her Excellency Rev. Eyoanwan Bassey Otu,  the First Lady of Cross River State. Ably represented by Hon. Inyang Asibong. which spanned fie two days, brought together eminent personalities and leaders from the health sector across Nigeria and beyond.

Her Excellency Rev. Eyoanwan Bassey Otu, although represented by Hon. Inyang Asibong, was celebrated for her exemplary contributions to Cross River State and the continent. According to Focus Africa President Sucex Bright, she epitomizes excellence and has significantly impacted Cross Riverians through extensive humanitarian programs across the state's three senatorial districts.

Prominent figures such as Her Excellency Zainab Shankafi Bagudu, Former First Lady of Kebbi State, and Her Eminence Dr. Mrs. Alanyingi Uduak Sylva, Representative of Former First Lady Bayelsa State, graced the occasion. Additionally, Her Excellency Mrs. Ebi Ikurusi, Wife of the Former Ambassador to Argentina, added to the event's prestige with her presence.

The sessions covered a range of topics aimed at empowering women in healthcare leadership, addressing healthcare challenges in Africa, and promoting holistic wellness practices. The conference underscored the pivotal role of women in driving sustainable health development across the continent.
