In a prestigious ceremony held within the vibrant Calabar Metropolis, the University of Calabar Students Union Government bestowed the esteemed Order of Malabor (MOM) upon *Dr. Julius O. Kijuo*, recognizing his exceptional contributions to community development and academia.

Dr. Julius Kijuo*, renowned for his dedication in the field of Community Development, was lauded by Union President Comr. Kichi-Akwa God's gift alongside other Union leaders. They highlighted Dr. Kijuo's pivotal role in positively impacting the lives of students and fostering the overall growth of the University.

The accolade adds to Dr. Kijuo's impressive collection of over 25 awards, including the Influential Youth Award in the 2023 general elections by Diaspora North America (DNA),

and the distinction of being named the Most Proactive Young Appointee in Cross River State in 2021. His tenure as the best Faculty of Education President in the history of the University of Calabar is also noted, where he pioneered the introduction of electronic sign-posts back in 2013, marking a significant technological advancement for the institution.

Beyond his academic pursuits, Dr. Kijuo is a multifaceted individual, excelling as a businessperson and politician. His current role as an aide to His Excellency Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu, the Executive Governor of Cross River State, underscores his commitment to public service and leadership.

Dr. Kijuo's philanthropic endeavors further highlight his dedication to uplifting communities, making him a deserving recipient of the Order of MALABOR .

His influence extends across national boundaries, as evidenced by the National Youths Honourary Ambassadorial Award and numerous other recognitions for his impactful initiatives.
