In a significant stride towards enhancing transportation and tourism in Calabar, Mr. Akinaka inaugurated ferry services at the picturesque Marina Resort. The commissioning, graced by distinguished personalities including Sen. Asuquo Ekpenyong, marked a milestone in Calabar's maritime infrastructure development.

Notable attendees included Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), alongside former NDDC MD, Timi Alaibe, Chief Gershom Henshaw of the Calabar Executive Forum, and Prince Ojoi, MD of the CRS Tourism Bureau.
