In a resounding success, the recently concluded Market Women's Forum Tour in Cross River State, coordinated by Mr. Etta Lawrence, has left an indelible mark on communities across the state. Spanning major markets in Calabar South, Calabar Municipal, Akpabuyo, and the Central and Northern Senatorial Districts, the tour traversed through bustling marketplaces in Ugep, Ikom, Ogoja, Yala, Bekwarra, Obudu, Obanliku, and Boki,

reaching out to countless market women.
The primary aim of the tour was to raise awareness about the Forum's unwavering commitment to fostering economic and financial growth among market women, all while nurturing a sense of unity and camaraderie among them. Under the visionary leadership of Director General Rev. Mrs. Eyoanwan Bassey Otu, the 1st Lady of CRS. the Forum was inaugurated with the noble intention of providing a platform for market women to voice their concerns and aspirations,

thus giving them the recognition they rightfully deserve.
The grand finale of the tour witnessed a remarkable display of empowerment as Her Excellency, Rev. Eyoanwan Bassey Otu alongside support from various organizations, provided financial assistance to these hardworking women. However, the impact extends far beyond monetary support, as a plethora of resources will be distributed to equip and uplift these women, ensuring their holistic development.

This monumental movement, spearheaded by the compassionate Rev.
