The Cross River State Bikers Association spearheaded a monumental initiative aimed at promoting road safety and fostering mutual respect between bikers and motorists. Led by the esteemed Chairman, Mr. Lasisi Effanga, the association embarked on a journey of enlightenment, traversing key points across the state. Their mission? To distribute informative fliers and engage motorists in crucial conversations about biker safety. Mr. Lasisi Effanga, with unwavering conviction, emphasized the inherent dignity of bikers and appealed to the conscience of drivers to prioritize their well-being.

Joining forces with the bikers was Mr. Ekanem Ekpenyong, the SA to the Governor on Sports Development. His presence underscored the government's unwavering commitment to safeguarding the lives of all road users. With empathy and sincerity, Mr. Ekpenyong echoed Mr. Lasisi's statement, advocating for a paradigm shift in how bikers are perceived.

They are not mere silhouettes on the road; they are fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters, deserving of respect and consideration.

Hon. Mathew Olory, the former chairman of Akamkpa Local Government Area, added depth to the discourse by highlighting the fundamental essence of the campaign: to instill a culture of safety consciousness among both bikers and drivers.
