The Commissioner for Youths Development, Hon Barr Ijom Ukam Esq plans to host a Cross River State Youth Submit that will create a platform for the youth of Cross River State to voice their opinions, concerns, and aspirations. 

The commissioner made this known as a guest on the Saturday 9th September,  2023 edition of the popular HitFM morning show, the ‘Public View’  hosted by Iwara U. Iwara.

The youth submit will be a gathering of young people from different backgrounds, including students, entrepreneurs, professionals, activists, and community leaders. It will be an inclusive and representative event, giving every young person in Cross River State an opportunity to be heard.

He added that during the submit, there will be panel discussions, workshops, and interactive sessions where the youth can interact with experts, government officials, and other stakeholders. These sessions will provide a platform for the youth to share their experiences, express their concerns, and collaborate on finding solutions to the challenges they face.

The outcomes of the youth submit will be documented and shared with relevant government agencies and stakeholders. It is expected that these outcomes will serve as a roadmap for the government to develop and implement youth-centered policies, programs, and initiatives.

The Honourable Commissioner, Hon. Barr. Ijom Ukam Esq. is focus on building the youth, creating a cordial relationship between the youths and the Government, and  ensuring that the voices of the youth are heard in the society.
