Sports Commissioner Pays Condolence Visit To Former MP

Hon. Agnes Atsu, the State Commissioner for Sports Development, yesterday, 9th September, 2023, paid a solemn visit to Rt. Hon. Essien Ayi, the State Chairman of Football Association, to extend her heartfelt condolences over the tragic loss of his son.

In this somber moment, Commissioner Atsu conveyed her intention not only to console but also to strengthen the partnership between the state government and the football association.

In response to the State Sports Commissioner's visit, Rt. Hon. Essien Ayi, Chairman of the Cross River State Football Association, expressed great enthusiasm for the visit and the prospect of collaboration. 

He commended the Commissioner's dedication to promoting sports within the state and welcomed the opportunity to work hand in hand towards achieving common goals.
