    It happened on a rainy day years back, I was at home, alone as usual when two young girls came over for a visit. We were bored in the bedroom and I asked them for an idea of what we could do to keep ourselves busy. One of them suggested we should act in a drama. I thought "Oh! A drama? It's not a bad idea c'mon". In this drama, I was to play the role of the father, the oldest was to play the mother, and the youngest,  our child. 

     We were forming our scripts and my line was flowing until it came to the point when we needed to conceive a child because our older fictional child needed a sibling. I was dumb folded on how it worked until the oldest among them started asking me to lay on her which I declined of course due to my upbringing. I have encountered this experience on several occasions with different girls when I was young but nothing happened, although it came a time that it almost happened, it didn't fortunately.

   No matter how sophisticated parental controls for internet access are, research shows the average age children are now exposed to pornography is 13, with some children being exposed by age 7. Digging deeper, 60% of 11- to 13-year-olds are exposed to adult content by accident. And 93% of males and 64% of females under 18 have purposefully accessed pornography. All of these statistics correlate with ever greater smartphone use in young people. With this in mind, the truism of “teach your children about sex or the internet will” has never rung truer.

    Below are some of the ways children are exposed to Sexual behaviors; 

1. Looking at others when they are undressing or nude,

2. Intruding on others' physical boundaries (e.g., standing too close to others),

3. Showing private parts (e.g., being "silly" or not knowing rules about privacy),

3. Touching adults' breasts (particularly their mother's). School children and young adolescents ages 9 to 13 may experience a substantial increase in sexual thoughts and feelings. One's first feelings of sexual attraction may occur as early as 9 to 12 years of age with the onset of sexual fantasies occurring several months to one year later. 

     Parents must watch out for the content their children view on the internet. Thanks to Google and IOS which have upgraded their software by including parental controls, with this feature, Children's activities can be connected to the guidance's device and can be monitored from any part of the world. 

     Children must be taught from a young age and this requires Spiritual emphasis on the child. " Train up a child in the way He should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it" Proverbs 22:6. Creating a spiritual environment for Spiritual upbringing will positively impact the life of the child on the do's and don't of society, We all know the Bible is encompassing. 

    Finally,  "ignorance is not an excuse". These children must be educated on the dangers of premarital sex. African mothers have to add more lines to "if a man touches your pants, you'll become pregnant". This is the 21st century, an era of technology, we're no longer in the primitive era. The future of the world is in the hands of the children. So many destinies have been thrown away through abortion, it has to stop.
