The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), South South, has Congratulated the newly sworn in Minister of Sports Development of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Rt Hon John Owan Enoh.

A release signed by the Zonal Vice President, Mr Asuka Ralph Chiemaka says the inaguration of Rt. Hon Enoh as the Minister of Sports Development by President Asiwaju Bola Amed Tinubu was greeted with commendations by stakeholders in the sports industry within and outside South South of Nigeria.

The statement further described the Minister as an astute politician and administrator, philanthropist and a lover of youth development

According to him, " the Rt Hon Minister is a man of proven integrity, a philanthropist and as someone who is known over the years for youth and human capital development, we believe very strongly that he (Enoh) will bring his wealth of experience to bear in the sports sector".

While expressing confidence that Rt. Hon John Enoh will do well in his new assignment, he prayed God to guide him and give him wisdom to interpret the vision of Mr President and also carry out the sports policies of the present administration to enviable heights.
