In the World Athletics Championship (WCH) qualifiers, Nigerian athletes Dubem Nwachukwu and Imaobong Nse Uko both secured 6th place finishes in their respective events, the Men's and Women's 400m.

Unfortunately, their times were not sufficient to progress to the next round. Imaobong Nse Uko finished with a time of 52.24s in the women's 400m, and Dubem Nwachukwu recorded a time of 45.60s in the men's 400m.

Despite their efforts, the focus remains on other Nigerian athletes aiming for positive performances and potential medal placements.
