For a long time I've looked at Bitcoin as a digital currency among other digital currencies. I knew it was the first, but the first of what? A unit of measure, a digital ledger, a decentralized bank, money that can never inflate?

Bitcoin may be all of those things but it is also something more, something transcendent.

To understand why Bitcoin is such a big deal one must first have a developed understanding of what money is. To understand what money is, one must understand the evolution of man.

, Michael Saylor describes money as the "highest form of energy that humans can channel." The evolution of modern man begins with us channeling energy. When we started playing with fire, we began to evolve. If one can harness fire, maybe they can also develop a brain and live long enough to use it.

Bitcoin is truly hard money. In the face of massive global inflation, Bitcoin provides hope as it is the first store of value where supply is totally unaffected by demand. An energy system that channels human ingenuity faster, stronger, better, and smarter. The perpetual increase in Bitcoin's value is not the inflation of a bubble. Bitcoin is more akin to the 

The true value of Bitcoin is only now being realized. It is not a simple digital currency to be day traded or used for high-frequency transactions. Bitcoin is a revolutionary asset that is here to stay. As more individuals hodl and more companies adopt Bitcoin as their treasury reserve asset, more monetary energy will be poured into this elemental system. Gradually, then suddenly, the future will bloom.
