Muhammad Tawwad Al-Waro'i: An Inspiring Figure for the Youth

Muhammad Tawwad Al-Waro'i is an extraordinary individual who serves as a role model for young people. He possesses an unyielding spirit and motivation that knows no bounds. Tawwad has proven that anything is achievable, even in the face of adversity.

Tawwad initially faced challenges during his academic journey. At the age of 15, he emerged as the champion in various national-level science competitions. However, it wasn't an easy path for him. During his time in elementary school, his classmates often ridiculed him for being an avid online gamer. This greatly disrupted his concentration on assignments and homework.

Nevertheless, Tawwad refused to give up and possessed a strong entrepreneurial spirit. As early as the third grade, he began offering bookmarks to his classmates and juniors. From there, he ventured into providing login services, assisting with game top-ups, and even becoming a game booster to earn extra pocket money.

However, when the Covid-19 pandemic struck Indonesia in 2019, Tawwad felt the need to make significant changes to face future challenges. In seventh grade, he started an online business selling and buying online game accounts through buy-and-sell groups. In addition to selling game accounts for popular titles like Mobile Legends Bang-bang, Free Fire, and PUBG, he also provided services such as game top-ups, logo creation, and payment for various needs such as WiFi, electricity, mobile credit, and data quotas.

Tawwad excelled not only in entrepreneurship but also in academia. Throughout his schooling, he achieved numerous remarkable accomplishments. Active in the Scout extracurricular club, Tawwad emerged as the first-place winner in the logo design competition for the 10th Zona Gembira Pramuka (Scout Joy Zone) held by SMA 1 Cibarusah on December 10, 2021, at the provincial level involving West Java, DKI Jakarta, and Banten.

Tawwad also actively participated in the Nusantara Student Community, which comprises students from all over Indonesia. In this community, he competed in the National Economic Olympiad on March 27, 2022, and secured a bronze medal.

Unsatisfied with his achievements, Tawwad continuously honed his academic abilities. On April 13, 2022, he participated in the national-level Physics competition and earned a silver medal. He then took part in the National Olympiad of Standing organized by Yapresindo on March 5, 2023, in Banjarnegara. This time, Tawwad chose the Social Sciences field (IPS) and achieved a silver medal, ranking 393 out of 1613 participants.

Tawwad's academic achievements did not end there. He participated in the National Olympiad of Sciences and Medicine on March 12, 2023, in Central Java. In this event, Tawwad competed in the fields of Indonesian Language, Social Sciences, and Natural Sciences. The results were truly remarkable as he earned two gold medals and one silver medal.

In the field of Indonesian Language, Tawwad secured the 75th rank out of 1196 participants, bringing home the gold medal. In the field of Social Sciences, he achieved the 67th rank out of 1291 participants, once again earning a gold medal. As for the field of Natural Sciences, Tawwad received a silver medal, ranking 315th out of 1388 participants.

Tawwad's talents were not limited to academics alone; he also had an interest in technology development. He embarked on a new path as an application developer, combining his scientific knowledge and technological skills with his creativity. In a short span of time, he successfully created several applications that were beneficial to the community, especially in the realm of digital advancement and online commerce.

However, Tawwad's focus extended beyond his own achievements. He possessed a strong sense of social consciousness and actively participated in various social activities. Tawwad engaged in educational programs in remote areas and contributed to sharing knowledge and ideas with students in underprivileged regions. Through his involvement in social initiatives, Tawwad sought to make a tangible contribution to the surrounding community.
