Rejoice was nine years old when she had a terrible attack. Rejoice was a brilliant and intelligent girl in school, she came out with distinction each term. Her parents and school teachers were so proud of her performances. When Rejoice got to primary 4 her grades began to drop suddenly, Hazon thought she doesn't read her books anymore, and he became very strict on her. Nobody knew that this sudden change in Rejoice was not ordinary.

When Rejoice was asleep in the middle of the night, she saw herself standing in the middle of the road. She saw an old woman standing and starring at her. Suddenly, a big tornedo wind blew at her direction, and the dust and sand entered her eyes and then she woke up.

The next morning, Rejoice told her mom her experience at night, and Maraya prayed against any negative effect it had on her, but her prayer was not enough.

Psalm 55:3 says, "Because of the voice of the enemy, Because of the pressure of the wicked;
For they bring down trouble upon me
And in anger they bear a grudge against me."

However, when there is an attack in the spiritual realm, its only a matter of time before it manifests in the physical. One day at school during class break, Rejoice was passing through the playing ground, she stood by to watch her class mates playing with jump ropes. Suddenly, one of the girls using the jump ropes moved towards where she stood and the jump rope entered her eyes. Rejoice screamed in pain and scratched her eyes so bad.

Days after the incident, whenever the family comes together for morning/night prayers and Rejoice is asked to read her Bible, she always mix up her words. Hazon as the strict man he is will scold and yell at her accusing her of not reading her books at her spare time. After several episodes of poor vision, her parents eventually found out she had poor eye sight. If Rejoice is sent on errands she hits her head on the wall or falls and trip. The Doctor placed her on medicated glasses and different medications because she was going blind.

As for her poor retentive memory that started in her primary school, it went on till her high school. During her high school days, Rejoice saw herself standing in the middle of the road again at night, saw the same old woman staring at her badly. The old woman held a knife and attempted to stab Rejoice but she did not succeed. After Rejoice parents heard of this, they reached out to a deliverance pastor.

Prayers went on for Rejoice and she got her retentive and intelligent memory back. Rejoice lost her retentive memory when she was nine years old and got it back when she was fifteen years.

Little did Rejoice know that this was the beginning of her crisis.
