In every marriage there is always an in-law who dislikes their fellow in-law, and if they have their way they will cause problems or cause a separation. In the case of this family, Hazon's family disliked Maraya. Some of them hated her because she's an outsider and not from their tribe and community. Maraya's in-laws pretended to love her but their pretense did not last long. Hazon sponsored his siblings when they were in college especially his younger brother Samuel.

Hazon loved his siblings so much to a fault that he can do anything for them to make them happy. Hazon goes further to collect his wife's salary to give to his brother Samuel. Samuel lavished the money and always comes back for more, Hazon gives him money again without a second thought. Samuel was Hazon's favorite brother so he took advantage of it and took him for granted.

Whenever Hazon's family wants something they go through his wife, she pleads with Hazon to give them whatever they asked for. Maraya's in-laws began to read meaning to her kindness and started making some silly statements claiming that Maraya charmed their brother which makes her control him.

Maraya is always calm whenever she hears such accusations, she always leave them to God because if she challenges or confront them, her in-laws will make it seem that she hates them.

Hazon did so many good and pleasant things for his siblings and go out of his way to provide for them, but they never returned the favor with good.

Hazon has two sisters, Hauwa and Jamila. Hauwa hated Maraya and she was the one who poisoned other people's mind against Maraya. Hauwa wanted to do anything and everything to separate Hazon and Maraya, so she went to a shrine and tendered her brother's and his wife's name to the Mallam. She told the Mallam to separate them and end their marriage so that Hazon will drive Maraya away and marry another woman from their tribe.

Mathew 19:6b says, "And what God has joined together, let no man put asunder".

Maraya's marriage began to fall apart, Hazon started returning home late from work, whenever his children tries to welcome him home, he drives them away. A strange woman came into the picture and captured Hazon's heart.

Hazon totally changed from being a loving and caring husband and father to something different. Maraya took this situation to God in prayer because her home was beginning to crumble.

After Maraya's midnight prayers, she went into a trans and she saw this woman who had captured the heart of her husband. This woman had dark powers and tried to use it against Maraya to kill her, but Maraya found strength in God and fought her. Maraya won the tough battle she has been fighting for months and the spell that was cast on her husband was broken.

Proverbs 14:11 says, "The house of the wicked will be destroyed, but the tent of the upright will flourish".

Hazon regained himself back and was delivered from every evil manipulation he was under. He became the sweet loving and caring husband and father again.
