Shito-Ryu
Shito-Ryu is a style of traditional Japanese karate that was founded by Kenwa Mabuni in the early 20th century. The style is named after the two masters who had the most influence on Mabuni's development as a martial artist: Itosu Anko and Kanryo Higaonna. Shito-Ryu is known for its emphasis on fluid, circular movements and its strong focus on kata (forms).
