Sophie and Alex spent the next few weeks getting to know each other better. They met up for coffee or dinner after work, went to see movies, and explored different neighborhoods in the city. Sophie felt herself slowly letting down her guard around Alex, as he proved to be a thoughtful, kind, and funny guy.

One night, they decided to have a picnic in the park under the stars. Alex had brought a blanket, a bottle of wine, and some snacks, while Sophie had packed a book and some sandwiches. They spread out the blanket and settled in, watching the stars twinkle overhead.

As they chatted and laughed, Sophie realized that she was having a great time with Alex.
