Chapter 3 - The First Date
Sophie couldn't stop thinking about the kiss she and Alex shared under the stars. It was soft and tender, yet there was a spark of passion that left her wanting more. She wondered if Alex felt the same way, or if she was reading too much into the kiss.
A few days later, Alex asked Sophie out on their first official date. He suggested they go to a fancy restaurant downtown, and Sophie agreed, feeling both excited and nervous. She spent hours getting ready, trying on different outfits and putting on makeup, until she finally settled on a simple yet elegant dress and a pair of heels.
When Alex arrived to pick her up, Sophie's heart skipped a beat. He was wearing a suit and tie, and he looked so handsome that she couldn't help but smile. He complimented her on her dress and offered her a bouquet of flowers, which made Sophie blush.
They took a taxi to the restaurant and were seated at a cozy table for two. The ambiance was romantic, with dim lighting and soft music playing in the background. Alex ordered a bottle of wine and they began to chat, feeling more at ease with each passing moment.
As they enjoyed their meal and talked about their interests and passions, Sophie realized that she was falling for Alex. He was everything she had ever wanted in a partner: kind, caring, and supportive, with a great sense of humor and a love for adventure.
After they finished eating, Alex suggested they take a walk by the river, which was just a few blocks away. Sophie agreed, feeling a bit tipsy from the wine and the excitement of the evening.
As they strolled hand in hand along the riverbank, Alex suddenly stopped and turned to face Sophie. "I have to tell you something," he said, looking into her eyes. "Ever since we met, I haven't been able to stop thinking about you. I know this might be too soon, but I feel like I have to say it. Sophie, I'm falling in love with you."
Sophie felt her heart skip a beat as she looked into Alex's eyes. She knew she felt the same way, but she was too nervous to say it out loud. Instead, she leaned in and kissed him, their lips meeting in a sweet and passionate embrace.
As they pulled away, Sophie whispered, "I think I'm falling in love with you too, Alex."
They smiled at each other, feeling happy and content in each other's arms, knowing that they had found something special under the stars.
