HOLD OF MY FUTURE DAYS TO COME

People have privileged information about your background but have got no clue about your future days to come.

A few days ago, I met an elderly man who narrated my family history with precision and dexterity.

I observed with keen interest how he based his narration on negativity and the bad happenings in my family line.

I waited patiently but none was coming forth. He concluded by saying and I quote, " no one becomes great from your family, so just do what you can and leave the rest to your children". 

I smiled and said to him, Sir, you have said so much about the past and present, but I haven't heard you say anything about the future, it means there's a part you have no information about and that part is the future.

His head was bowed as he said, the future belongs to God.

I smiled again, thank you for your honesty, it means that God is the holder of my future days to come right? 

He stared blankly at me and said nothing but I was glad that he got the message.

It was a historical fact that nothing good comes out of Nazareth. There has never been a prophet or prominent person to come from there.

But when the time was right, God send the saviour from there. The unlikely loathed and unexpected place of all places.

Regardless of what people say or think about you. It is God that holds the manual of your life. 

Keep looking up to him as you build capacity for what is coming. 

Remember, you have nothing to prove to anybody. You only have the destiny to fulfil. Stay focused amid detractors and challenges. 

For gold is tried in the fire and acceptable men in the furnace of adversity.
