Garang Kuol’s story is truly remarkable

Kuol’s family moved to Australia from Egypt as refugees. Garang and his brothers grew up watching World Cup highlights of Australia, dreaming of emulating their heroes.

He signed for Central Coast Mariners in 2021 and scored on his senior debut at 17-years-old.

Played and impressed against Barcelona for the A-League all-stars in pre-season.

Made his debut for the Socceroos in September. Then signs for Newcastle United.

And now, becomes the youngest player to play for Australia at a fifa World Cup
