My thoughts were with my classmates and the idiots who were already here.

They too told of uncanny events in psychiatry.

I found that I hadn't noticed anything unusual or paranormal.

Oddly enough, I felt a little disappointment.

A tiny part of me was actually hoping that maybe something weird would happen after all.

I knew beforehand that the horror stories of supernatural phenomena just weren't true!

As I mentioned at the beginning, everything can be explained logically and rationally.

With a quick look at my cell phone watch, I realized that it was now almost midnight.

I exhaled annoyed.

I hadn't realized how quickly time had passed wandering the confusing corridors of the "closed" department.

The way to that "cursed" psychiatric ward through the huge forest with my mountain bike was exhausting.

Then wandering for hours through this huge and abandoned building has not been a pleasant and relaxing stroll either!

At that moment I was just annoyed and exhausted.

My legs started to hurt from cycling and walking around and I had to drive all the way back home.

I just wanted to find Ace Black's damn room!

Film the whole room and finally get back home.

Take a hot shower and relax.

Wash the disgusting dirt and disgusting stench off me and sleep in my cozy bed.

I breathed deeply in and out of the dreamy thoughts.

Then I grabbed my hand for the flashlight on the wooden counter and walked slowly past the small reception counter towards the last corridor.

There had to be that "damn" room number 13 somewhere.

After all, it couldn't just vanish into thin air!

Suddenly the doorbell rang loud and shrill behind me.

I was snapped out of my thoughts and stopped dead in my tracks.

My blood froze in my veins and I got goosebumps all over my body.

Because it wasn't my phone!

This couldn't be possible, was my next thought.

The only thing that might ring near me would be the ancient, dusty rotary phone on the filthy little reception desk.

How the hell could this rotary phone even work without electricity!?

A hundred different thoughts immediately ran through my head and none of them made sense.

I was really getting a little scared now.

However, I tried to calm down quickly.

So that I don't panic, so that my brain became completely foggy and rational, logical thinking completely stopped.

The old broken phone kept ringing, loud and shrill.

A penetrating and unpleasant in the ears: "RING... RING... RING... RING... !"
