This a story that reminds me of where the journey of being a passionate teacher and public speaker started.

My Dream

"Uche! Uche!" My uncle's voice sounded. Running like a rat being chased by a cat was me at the sound of the horrible voice of my uncle . My heart sunk into my stomach and my intestines were already yearning to visit the push and wash house. Ah! Poor me! What on Earth is the crime? Ponders my weary soul "Didn't you hear me the first time I called? That's how you will be lazying about while others are busy doing their assignments . Where's is your book?" My uncle demanded. Maths was my biggest fear and that very day, my whole body enjoyed the sweet pain of my uncle's Mr. Do Good. I felt so ashamed of myself seeing my siblings hitting maths on the head and throttling the engines of English language.  

Staring from a lonely corner was the Uche, whose name is metonymically associated to a dumb ass. I was literally struggling to write 'M et W'. What on Earth was the colour of my problem? I laugh when my heart reminisces the old days of little beginning.

Mow was home from work and my siblings rushed to take 'work buys' but how would I, when I still have Mr. Maths and Mrs. English to deal with. Sobbing and crying , I looked up to heaven and asked God to bless me with wisdom. God showed me mercy one day. 

Aunt Chioma, majestically walked to the kitchen where I sat pounding crayfish for a sumptuous evening meal and what she asked was, "Who wrong the family's surname on the gate?" None of my siblings could agree to have done that. I rushed to the gate and saw the writing. I knew it was extra ordinary. I read the letters 😭😭😭😭😭

Miraculously, I saw myself reading fluently more especially in my mother tongue after few months. Everyone baffled at the sudden change. I became the best in the family.

Years later, I made a promise to give back to others what God has blessed me with. I'm a certified teacher now and currently a very good public speaker anchoring both online and offline workshops in English classes and Public Speaking.

My journey so far has been a fulfilled dream.
