In the modern era ,the world of selfies, where they are reigning supreme, where the hashtags are tolerating the burden of social changes ,the quest to be a good person has taken on distant  and satirical flavor. Just  forget the virtues and norms of old ,in this Victorious world ,virtue signaling is the currency of moral high ground.  Your goodness is measured by your social media tweets and Instagram stories .More you share good things more you would be considered a good person . Its not about real world impact  but abut looking like you care . Because being good person is not about authenticity but art of appearing virtuous in a world obsessed with images over substances. 

You should defend diversity and inclusion ,only when they are in alignment with your personal faiths because true virtuous lies in ability to selectively apply your open-mindedness.  Being a good person make sure that you have shared your journey to enlightenment , complete with sponsored hashtags . True goodness is a filtered selfie away .The act of doing good is somehow overshadowed by the art of looking good while doing good .

In this modern world , disagreeing is an art form, the more contrarian you are ,the better you . Flipping smart phones at dinner table, embracing social media over sharing And scoff at quaintness of hand written letters are the proud heretics of today’s modern people. 

Modern men voyage reaches its zenith as it ascend the Summit of Holier-Than-Thou Heights. Here, the air is thin with moral superiority, and the view from the top offers a panoramic display of one’s virtuous accomplishments. Be prepared for the occasional nosebleed, for the altitude of self-righteousness can be dizzying. 

As  we descend from the summit, we sail through the Sea of Humble Brags, where the waters are as transparent as the thinly veiled self-promotion that pervades the air. Brace yourself for waves of modesty crashing against cliffs of conspicuous achievement.

In today’s modern world you would find sincerity as your enemy ,in this world a good friend is like a poker player with a stellar hand .Expressions of warmth and affection should be sprinkled sparingly, like confetti at a funeral, to maintain an air of mystery. In  the realm of gift-giving, think of it as a diplomatic version of a chess match. The key is to give something thoughtful yet utterly forgettable. A souvenir from your country might seem like a nice gesture, but nothing screams “I value our friendship” like a generic keychain or a miniature statue that could double as a paperweight.
