MINISTER JOHN OWAN ENO (JOE) TENNIS TOURNAMENT SHOWCASES STATE-OF-THE-ART TENNIS FACILITIES

The highly anticipated Minister John Owan Eno (JOE) Tennis Tournament  commenced with great fanfare at the Calabar Sports Club Court in Cross River State. Dignitaries like the Minister for youth and Sports Development, Senator John Owan Enoh and his dear wife was in attendance as well as the state's sports development management, including  the Commissioner for Sports Development, Hon Agnes Atsu,

and the Permanent Secretary, Samuel Egbala, as well as other heads of department, proudly adorned their native attire, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the region and emphasizing the significance of the tournament in promoting sports development within the state.

Tennis enthusiasts and distinguished individuals were captivated by the outstanding performances of the participating tennis players as they showcased their exceptional skills on the court.

The electric atmosphere was a testament to the dedication and passion exhibited by the athletes, and it was evident that their commitment to the sport resonated deeply with the audience.

The Minister for Sports Development, Senator John Enoh emphasized the pivotal role of youth participation in tennis, underscoring the importance of nurturing and empowering young talent to foster the growth and development of the sport within Cross River State.

Also speaking the Commissioner of Sports Development, Honourable Agnes Atsu, stated that the tournament's open approach towards involving and inspiring the youth community reflects a commitment to cultivating a vibrant and inclusive tennis culture, ensuring a promising future for the sport within the region, and beyond.

The tennis tournament witnessed, dance performances, inspection of the different facilities, presentation of awards and cups to deserving winners, amongst others.
