Bang! Bang! Bang! That annoying sound that tells you there has been a breach of your ultimate privacy.

"Ta ni yen?"

"It is me o, Tomi, Tomiwa"

"Ohhhhh, that glutton is here again!", Jide muttered to himself as he opened the door.

"Howfar, my guy?"

"Bro, are you making Jollof rice? I could perceive the aroma from the gate. You dey enjoy o." Tomiwa said as he walked to the reading table and chair and sat down.

This was his usual antic! He'd show up unannounced when the food was almost ready. It was what earned him the title Tomi Long Throat. Jide was so pained the neighbors hadn't alerted him Tomiwa was back. It was going to be his first meal of the day. He had hoped he could save some for later but the chowhound wouldn't let today slide.

"My babe will be coming later today. It is even small rice I made." He said, in an attempt to let Tomi know he couldn't share his rice with him today.

"Na just small I go chop, I wan just taste like three or four spoons.", Tomi said as he followed Jide back into his kitchen to serve the rice.

"This rice looks really nice. My bro, you sabi!"

A defeated Jide, squeezed out a smile and replied "thank you. "

He gave the plate of rice to Tomi and signaled to him the bag of sachet water behind the kitchen door.

" I want to quickly do the dishes, I dey come."

Jide washed the plates like he was in a hurry to go sign a billion dollar contract. To his dismay, Tomi had eaten almost half of the food in the plate.

"OH, you're here. I dn wait tire, I say make I dey chop small small dey go. The food too sweet!"

Jide had expected Tomi to stop eating because he had said he just wanted to have a little. However, he continued eating, spoon after spoon until the plate was empty.

"God punish you!" He thought to himself. He would never make a mistake like this. "Na small thing remain, I for start to cry." He said to the other neighbors who had been laughing the whole time as he narrated the incident. The laughter ceased as a neighbor, Kiki said "Tomi Long Throat dey come, hide your food!
