Because all I can remember now was the summer of 2013. That summer, you proposed. Then on the yuletide season, we married. 

Is it too selfish and picky of me to just remember the few things? Just the happy ones? the exciting ones? the memorable ones?

It is now 2021, and all I can reminisce are the joys in our faces. How is it that I could not remember the sad days, if ever there were any? The chilling nights of being not on your side, if ever there were ever. The unbearable desire to see each other when we were not together, if ever we were.

Looking back, I guess, a person who is truly madly in love would just remember the time when the spark started; any other moments before that do not matter.
