kazungula quadripoint

Around the world, there are more than 150 different tripoints—borders where three nations meet but only one international “quadripoint.” This is a spot in the middle of the Zambezi River, in southern Africa, where Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Botswana all touch. the territories of four countries (Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Namibia) come close to meeting at a quadripoint.

My beautiful country Suriname

Suriname arises as a slave colony Suriname part Guyana: area between the Amazon and Orinocco estuaries. In 1499 Guyana was recognized by the Spaniards and around the 16th century El Dorado was searched in vain by the Spaniards? no interest in the rest of Guyana, but French, British and Dutch settled on the "Wilde Coast" of Guyana. Suriname was founded as a colony by the British in 1651 on the Suriname River and they established sugar plantations. During the war between the Dutch Republic and Great Britain (1665-1667) Zeeland conquers the British colony of Suriname ? at the Peace of Breda stipulates that Suriname would become Dutch possession, so the Dutch exchanged New Amsterdam (New York) for Suriname. From 1667, Suriname remained in Dutch possession for almost three centuries. In 1682 Zeeland sells Suriname to the West India Company (WIC). Year later sold on to Geoctroyeerde Sociëteit van Suriname (jointly owned WIC, city of Amsterdam and a wealthy private individual).
