Mangu Kumar Sahoo, also Mangu, knew of Jyothika Sahoo, aslo Jyoti, from a young age beause his family lived in a rented house in her home village of Kamaguru, Khordha district, for several years during his childhood, while Mangu had known her since they were children, Jyoti was unaware of him during that earlier period.
