  Review: Decades ago my dad’s lawyer told him “Bob (let’s call him ‘Bob’…cuz we all know a ‘Bob’) If you understood how fast our Constitutional Rights and Freedoms were being eroded at every level of government you would be terrified of what America’s future will become.”
  ‘Tom’ (cuz that’s his name), the Lawyer, understood what few of us as citizens understand. Our Federal Government does NOT want to live up to the demands of protecting the Rights and Freedoms guaranteed by The Constitution of the United States of America. That we even have so many rights and freedoms is terrifying to them because it threatens their job and their power. And so our Elected Officials…Congress, Senate, President, Governor, Mayors…and the myriad of people we vote for but never bother to read up on, research or even find out what they have done and voted on in the past….are ALL ACTIVELY PURSUING THE EROSION AND OUTRIGHT CANCELLATION OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA BECAUSE IT THREATENS THEIR ABSOLUTE POWER OVER US…..and they REALLY want that absolute power over us.

  Review: An awful lot of people claim that this or that "is unConstitutional!!!". Recently, there have been folks who insist that community or state orders to wear facemasks or shelter in place are against the Constitution.
  
  I bought this copy of The Constitution of the United States for all of 99 cents, so as to have a copy I could carry in a pocket. I have gone through it, article by article, paragraph by paragraph, but can't seem to find the parts about masks anywhere. The closest thing to "no sheltering in place" is Article III of the Amendments, which states that says the government cannot quarter soldiers in civilians' houses without their consent during peacetime-- not at all the same thing.
  
  Do you see why it's useful to have a copy? When confronted with "That's against my Constitutional rights!" you can offer the copy and ask them to show you just which rights they're talking about.
  
  There is one real concern regarding the pamphlet. The people publishing it-- the National Center for Constitutional Studies-- have been identified by the Southern Poverty Law Center as a fringe Mormon group specializing in a sort of revisionist American history. They believe that not merely was God actively involved in the founding of the nation (and the carefully chosen quotations from the Founding Fathers emphasize this), but that the federal government has essentially usurped power belonging to the states, and needs to be broken up. However, since the Constitution, Bill of Rights, and Amendments are all printed word-for-word, it's easy to ignore the publishers in favor of what they've published.
  
  It may well be the case that we shall see Constitutional issues raised following the 2020 election. If so, then having a copy may well be to your benefit as well.
  
  Highly recommended for the content and price, although the publisher remains problematic.
