God Rupture: What You Need to Know
Chapter 1 - God Rupture: What You Need to Know
God Rupture, sometimes known as the Judgement Day or the End of Days, is a concept found in many of the world’s major religions, including Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. It is the belief that God will one day intervene in the world and bring about a great transformation or “rupture” of the existing order. This rupture could take many forms, including a physical event such as the return of Jesus Christ or the destruction of the world, or a spiritual transformation of the world. While the specifics of God Rupture vary from religion to religion, it is generally believed that some form of divine intervention will take place in the future and that it will result in either salvation or damnation for all people. For Christians, the main event associated with the God Rupture is the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, while for Jews and Muslims, the Day of Judgment is often seen as the culminating event. No matter the religion, God Rupture is seen as a momentous occurrence that will be accompanied by great upheaval and change. It is a concept that has shaped religious thought for millennia and has been the source of much speculation, debate, and fear.
