The Conference of Nigerian Political Parties(CNPP) Cross River State Chapter has unanimously passed a vote of no confidence on Mr. Patrick Ally and appoints Pastor Odung Michael as its acting chairman.

Members of the group who all unanimously signed the petition have urged the Executive Governor of Cross River State His Excellency Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu, through the State Security Apparatus and the state palliative Committee to quickly effect the arrest of Mr. Patrick Ally and Castro Ezama who both connived to cart away 200 bags of palliative rice meant for the CNPP and brought only 15 bags to the members

Members of the group also frown at the heartless extortion by Castro Ezama and Patrick Ally by having each CNPP member contribute #1,500 with their curriculum vitae (CV) in the guise of submitting same to the Governor for appointment. Indeed, this is the height of wickedness in the history of CNPP.

While the Acting Chairman of CNPP Comr. Odung Michael in his acceptance speech pledged an unalloyed loyalty to the government of Cross River state. The CNPP Chairman vows to ensure quality, accountable and transparent leadership, including possible collaboration and synergy with Governor Otu's administration towards a better Cross River State and Nigeria at large.
