In an interactive session with CyanahPEN, the Director of Information Faculty of Engineering and Technology UNICAL proudly announcing the groundbreaking development of the UNICAL Explorer App, a visionary project led by the UNICAL computer science student Kingsley Chukwuemeka Anyanwu. This innovative application boosts a range of features, including UNICAL GPT, a location finder, chatroom functionality, a Students Union Government Executives verified badge slot, past questions, results checker and an upcoming Skills Acquisition forum.

The UNICAL Explorer App, available on both iPhone and Android platforms, represents a significant leap forward in technology, fostering connectivity and enhancing the university experience for students and faculty alike. With its diverse features, the app is poised to become an integral part of campus life, providing a seamless platform for communication, information retrieval, and skill development.

KEY FEATURES:

1. UNICAL GPT: The app incorporates cutting-edge artificial intelligence through UNICAL GPT, ensuring users have access to advanced language processing capabilities.

2. LOCATION FINDER: Simplifying campus navigation, the location finder feature makes it easier for students and visitors to navigate the university premises efficiently.

3. CHATROOM FUNCTIONALITY: The inclusion of a chatroom facilitates real-time communication, collaboration, and information sharing among students and faculty members.

4. SUG EXECUTIVES VERIFIED BADGE SLOT: Enhancing transparency, the app includes a slot for Students Union Government Executives to be verified, fostering credibility and trust within the university community.

5. SKILLS ACQUISITION FORUM (Upcoming): In an effort to promote holistic development, an upcoming Skills Acquisition forum will be added to the app, providing a platform for students to acquire and showcase valuable skills.

6. GSS CBT & POST-UTME PAST QUESTIONS; This past questions will be beneficial for exams revision.

7. RESULTS CHECKER; It helps to process semester results through getting your scratch card and matriculation number.

APPROVAL AND ENDORSEMENT:

To ensure the app meets the highest standards, the University of Calabar management is urged to review and approve it in line with institutional guidelines. Furthermore, we call upon the Federal and State Ministries to recognize the significance of this project and extend their support in advancing the passion, talent, and skills of our young innovators.

OUTREACH TO GLOBAL INFLUENTIAL FIGURES:

In a bid to garner widespread support and recognition, we aspire to reach out to international and local visionaries such as Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg and other influential inventors. Their involvement and endorsement would not only elevate the UNICAL Explorer App but also inspire future generations of innovators whereby this project exemplifies the commitment of the University of Calabar to nurturing creativity, technology, and entrepreneurship.
