Chapter 2 - Personal Experience
As the creator of Urban Kulture, I developed this brand because I noticed a gap in the market for affordable, stylish African-inspired fashion targeted at young people. My interest in fashion, culture, and digital branding motivated me to create a platform that allows individuals to express themselves confidently through clothing.
Building this brand has helped me understand what it takes to think like an entrepreneur. I learned that success is not only about having a good idea, but also about adapting, testing, and improving based on feedback. This reflects the effectuation principle of using available resources and starting small while growing gradually (Sarasvathy, 2001).
