CROSS RIVER STATE IPAC MARKS ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY WITH THANKSGIVING, COMMENDS GOVERNOR OTU'S STRIDES

The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) in Cross River State recently celebrated its one-year anniversary with a powerful Thanksgiving service at The Golden Heart Place, Dominion City Avenue off Akai Efa Roundabout, Calabar. The event was graced by political figures and leaders, with the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Cross River State, Hon. Emmanuel Ironbar, represented by Mr. Dunamis Archibong, Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Political Affairs.
The event gathered members of all political parties in the state, underscoring the importance of unity and collaboration in the political landscape. The highlight of the event was the spiritual blessing of the group’s leadership by Senior Man of God, Pastor Jesam Oboma, who prayed for divine favor for the continued success and peace in Cross River State.
In his speech, Engr. Effiom Okon Edet, IPAC chairman Cross River state, emphasized the significance of the Thanksgiving ceremony, highlighting God's faithfulness over the past year and recognizing the positive influence of His Excellency, Apostle Sen. Prince Bassey Otu, in transforming the state.
He pointed out that the smooth relationship between IPAC and the current administration was a key factor in the state’s political stability, noting that no IPAC member had been lost, and there had been no political crises. Mr. Dunamis Archibong, speaking on behalf of Hon. Emmanuel Ironbar, expressed gratitude for the political stability achieved in the state over the last year.
He commended the leadership of IPAC for their unity and focus on progress, acknowledging that it was essential for political groups to come together to give thanks for such milestones. He also reflected on how the government of Cross River State, under the leadership of Governor Bassey Otu, operates with the mantra of acknowledging God's role in all actions. He reiterated that everything done by His Excellency and the Chief of Staff is centered around divine guidance and support.
Other political leaders present also took the opportunity to express their gratitude to Governor Bassey Otu for his exemplary governance, which has greatly contributed to the state’s growth and development. The event ended on a high note, with renewed calls for continued collaboration and peace among the state's political parties as they work together to build a prosperous future for Cross River State.
