This was made during the Opening ceremony of the training and empowerment of 1000 Youth in Cross River Dr. Kijuo further assured the management of the institute that the Governor is ready to partner with Institutions and agencies who are development driven, He emphasized that the program would significantly impact the lives of Cross Riverians. He highlighted the importance of acquiring skills that will equip the participants for wealth generation and job opportunities in the future.

He encouraged the participants to remain focused in the course of the training and professional pursuits, as this would be key to their success. Rev. Dr. ThankGod Arong, the Director of Research Gateway Professional Institute, also addresses the participants and welcomed them warmly and urged them to stay focused, dedicated, and to embody the values of the institute as worthy ambassadors.

He reminded them that they were now part of a transformative educational system and had a responsibility to make the most of the opportunity presented to them. Rev. ThankGod further thank the Governor in his human Capital Development which inspired them to partner with the state Government towards reducing unemployment in the State

Other dignitaries who spoke at the event included Prof. Patrick Egaga, FRGP Dean Students affairs, University of Calabar, Amb. Prince. Akim Mbeh, who delivered an insightful keynote address, and Patrick Egaga etc.
