Hope Waddell Training Institution, one of Nigeria's oldest and most prestigious educational institutions, has unveiled its official mascot for 2025 as part of its 130th Founders' Day Celebration.

The unveiling ceremony, which took place on the school's premises, was attended by students, teachers, alumni, and dignitaries from across the state.

The mascot, designed to symbolize the institution's rich history and values, features a majestic mascot, representing strength, courage, and excellence.

According to the HWOSA NATIONAL PRESIDENT, the mascot is a representation of the institution's commitment to nurturing young minds and empowering them to soar to great heights.

"This mascot is more than just a symbol; it represents our values of excellence, integrity, and service. We are proud to unveil this mascot as we celebrate 130 years of providing quality education to generations of Nigerians," he added.

The 130th Founders' Day Celebration, which kicked off today, features a series of events, including a thanksgiving service, cultural performances, and a reunion of alumni from across the country etc.

Hope Waddell Training Institution was founded in 1895 by the Presbyterian Church of Scotland and has since become a benchmark for academic excellence and character development in Nigeria.

With its rich history and commitment to excellence, Hope Waddell Training Institution continues to inspire generations of students to become leaders and change-makers in their communities.
