Vision and Goals

Telkom University's vision to become a National Excellence Entrepreneurial University by 2028 was chosen to fulfill the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). This shows its commitment to integrating education with social and environmental tasks.Telkom University's transformation strategy is carried out in five stages. First, from 2013 to 2018, focused on achieving World Class University status. Then, from 2018 to 2023, Tel-U is oriented towards Research & Entrepreneurial University. The third stage, from 2023 to 2028, is a commitment to becoming a National Excellence Entrepreneurial University. The next stage is World Class Entrepreneurial and Global Entrepreneurial University.

Concrete Steps

In 2024, Telkom University has a main focus on achieving Education Excellence in Entrepreneurial University. Some concrete steps taken include:

1. Improving Accreditation : Add 50% of study programs that are accredited A or have an Excellent predicate.
   

2. Internationalization : Achieving 25% of study programs with international accreditation.
   

3. Student Participation : Involve 30% of students in entrepreneurship education programs.
   

4. Location Expansion : Expansion of branch campus in Purwokerto.
   

Strategy Implementation

The implementation of this strategy does not only occur on the main campus in Bandung. Telkom University Surabaya also took part in this transformation. At the inauguration of new students for the 2024/2025 academic year, Prof. Adiwijaya emphasized the importance of the educational impact provided by Telkom University. He said that Telkom University has been ranked 301-400 in the Overall World Impact Ranking, showing a real contribution to sustainable development.

Cooperation and Innovation

Telkom University is also active in cooperation with other institutions such as PT Jakarta Infrastruktur Propertindo (JIP). In the signed MoU, Telkom University and JIP agreed to support the tri dharma of higher education and the acceleration of digital transformation of technology, information, and communication. This shows Telkom University's commitment to developing technology and innovation.

Achievement Results

The results of Telkom University's achievements are already clearly visible. Among others, Telkom University became the Best Private University (PTS) in Indonesia according to the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education and became the first PTS in Indonesia to achieve Excellent accreditation. In addition, Telom University was also successful in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2022 ranking with a ranking of 9th in Indonesia and 77th in the world as a Sustainable PTS.
