I am honored to have been invited as a guest lecturer at the National Institute for Security Studies (NISS) in Abuja, where I spoke to the distinguished participants of the Executive Intelligence Management Course 17 (EIMC 17) 2024. NISS is renowned for its leadership training for future policymakers across government, military, paramilitary, law enforcement, and security agencies, drawing participants from Nigeria and other African nations.

My lecture, titled “Technology, Politics, and Economy: Keys to Changing the Narrative,” aligned with this year’s EIMC 17 theme, “Artificial Intelligence, Security, and Emerging Economies in Africa: Challenges and Prospects.” During the session, we explored ways to evolve and innovate, aiming to drive development in Nigeria and Africa—an objective central to the VCO Foundation’s mission.

I extend my heartfelt thanks to Alh. A.S. Adeleke fsi+ mni, the Commandant of NISS, the entire NISS management team, and all the distinguished participants for this intellectually enriching experience.
