Dear Constituents, I bring you Felicitations on this auspicious occasion of the celebration of our cultural history, the Boki New Yam festival 2024, a celebration of our rich heritage. This event which was created to unite our people, eloquently buttresses the boisterous agricultural heritage of our forefathers and has been revolutionized over the centuries.

Boki prides itself as an agricultural hub, with rich endowment in agricultural cash crops and other mineral resources. This lucrative heritage has made every Boki citizen hardworking and self-reliant, creating self-esteem and contributing to the override GDP of the state and nation. It is heartwarming to note that Boki is first to celebrate the “New Yam festival” over 50 years ago. This celebration has become highly rated event, adding to the global tourism calendar.

Dear brothers and sisters, as we celebrate today, let us be reminded of the historical affinity created by this epochal event.
